How difficult is it to set up Gitential for a team that's already using multiple Git platforms? (14575 อ่าน)

We have a mix of GitHub and GitLab repositories across different teams, and I'm looking for a tool that can give me a unified view of our development activity without forcing everyone to change their workflow. I've heard about Gitential but I'm worried about the setup complexity. Has anyone integrated it with multiple platforms?

We connected Gitential to both GitHub and GitLab last quarter and the setup was surprisingly straightforward. You just authorize the app on each platform and it starts pulling data almost immediately. The dashboard aggregates everything into a single view, which has been a huge time saver for our engineering leads. What I really like is that it doesn't just show raw commit counts. It breaks down review patterns, pull request cycles, and even identifies bottlenecks in specific stages of your development process. We also use it to spot knowledge silos and improve team collaboration. The team at Gitential has been responsive with questions too. If you want to see how the integration works and what metrics you get, take a look at https://gitential.com/. We had it running within a day and the insights have been genuinely useful for planning.

That's really good to know. I was worried about a lengthy setup process, but if it works across both platforms with minimal friction, I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'll check out the integration details.
