Another major consideration for PC gamers is modding. Grand Theft Auto V became one of the most active modding platforms in PC gaming, with enormous communities creating visual modifications, gameplay experiments, role-playing environments, custom vehicles, and other projects. Rockstar has also supported the broader PC ecosystem in various ways, while community platforms such as FiveM have demonstrated how much interest exists in customized Grand Theft Auto experiences. Rockstar's recent official announcement of “NoPixel V” also highlights the continuing importance of creator-driven experiences around Grand Theft Auto. The PC version question is perhaps the biggest issue for computer gamers. Rockstar's current official GTA VI page lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the supported platforms. A supposed downloadable PC version claiming to be the official game could be fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise unauthorized. Until Rockstar announces an official PC version and distribution method, there is no legitimate reason to download a supposed “GTA 6 PC full version” from an unknown website.
