Snapchat’s Friend Solar System is an interesting way to visualize where someone ranks among your closest Snapchat connections.
The planets represent positions in the Best Friends list, with Mercury being #1 and Neptune being #8.
For anyone trying to understand the feature, https://snapchatplanets.co.uk/ offers explanations of the planet order and what each position represents.
Since the rankings can change as your Snapchat activity changes, they are better viewed as a snapshot rather than a permanent measure of friendship.
Do you think this feature makes friendships easier to understand, or does it create unnecessary comparisons?
