Is it normal to feel better quickly on antibiotics? (6 อ่าน)

Quick question—when you start antibiotics for a bacterial infection, is it normal to feel better in just 2–3 days?

Because that’s what usually happens with me. I start something like amoxicillin 500mg (Zylomox 500mg capsules) and symptoms reduce pretty fast.

But here’s the confusing part—sometimes the infection comes back later.

So now I’m wondering if feeling better early actually means the infection is gone… or just reduced temporarily?

I’ve heard that stopping antibiotics early can cause recurrence, but honestly, when you feel completely fine, it’s hard to continue the full course.

Just trying to understand—should we always complete the full duration even if symptoms disappear? And has anyone else faced this “quick relief but return later” situation?
