The time for how long does indexing take iOS 27 depends on your iPhone model and the amount of data stored on your device. Indexing may take several hours or longer after a major software update. Keeping your iPhone connected to Wi-Fi and a charger can help background processing finish. If indexing remains stuck for several days, check for software updates and other possible issues.
