Can’t Be Arsed is an acronym, abbreviation, or colloquial term that is employed primarily in the UK, Ireland and Australia. It is a statement of not wanting to be involved in something because of becoming lazy, because of the lack of motivation, or because one may not feel interested enough at the time. When one gets exhausted, overwhelmed, or bored with accomplishing a task, he/she tends to use it. CBA can be used to say no but in a way that shows a nonchalant attitude when one is responding to a message, or performing an activity, or when rejecting an invitation.
